Tires...

Bought a set of stock 265/75/16's for my truck. Cooper ST MAXX. 10 ply. Always had good luck with coopers. Had STT's and got 65k out of them with 1 flat tire. Love'em and sticken with em!

X2 even if i cant make the power the new ones will. Kinda jealous, but reliabiltiy is over the top!!!!!!!

I agree, but turbos arent as simple as they used to be. Alot of work comes out of a turbo these days!! Thermal managment for the DPF system, regen pressures to ozidize the soot in the DPF.

Its the world we live in, cant get away from the tree huggers, but we should be able to make some decent power on these newer engines. Like the pot callin the kettle black!!

Ok, catch me up on the 6.4, is it EGR and DPF or jus DPF? (i think both) Same as 6.7,or jus DPF? Alot of manufacturers are getting away from the EGR and jus going with the SCR system. Its a proven system been used for years on the power plants. Europe has already figured this out. I know the...

My truck was stolen...

Sorry to hear that, i know the feeling, mine was stolen in july. Punched out the passenger side lock and destroyed the ignition, then rammed it into a tree a month after I put my 05 conversion on. Never caught the guy, but id like to meet him in a dark alley!!!

7.3 Clutch options....whatcha got?

I put a stock power LUK in it at 119k with a new flywheel. It has 172k now. I bet the flywheel is ok but wouldnt know until I get it turned and see how warped it is.

7.3 Clutch options....whatcha got?

Dont have a clutch yet, need one asap. jus wonderin if I could save some money and use my old flywheel and just buy the clutch and pressure plate kit. Extra $250 for the flywheel.

I wonder if i have to upgrade the flywheel to accept the 13 in pressure plate or can I just get my flywheel turned? Its a LUK flywheel, and the best part I can turn it at work for free!

Love mine!! Not quite enough with 238/100's when towing heavy, but great street/light towing app!

02 clutch pedal on floor

:whs: :whs: I replaced the slave and took me quite a while to bleed it.(4yrs ago) I think they sell them as a complete pre-bled system now. Cant get indivudual parts.

zf6 noise?

I have the same ZF-6, mine does the same thing and I have run synthetic ATF in it is whole life. I may be wrong, but I think most of the gears are a straight cut gear which are a lot noiser than a bevel cut gear. It would make sense because straight cut gears would be stronger for the low end...

The benefit would be have a nice set of hybird injectors, so down the road when I possibly rebuild the engine with a set of forged or crower rods than I could use the full potential of the injectors instead of buying another set. Hybrids to my knowledge (and that isn't much) can be detuned for...

So I am caught between these two style of injectors. I would like something that tows good (8-10,000lbs), but also want the performance side once in a while. (Sled pulling, Dyno). My stock sticks are getting tired with 160k on the clock. Keep in mind my truck is an 03 with PMR's. No mods in sig...
