38r opinions?

I blew my stock turbo up and now seeing what everyone thinks about the 38r? Is it a complete drop in just get the turbo put it on and go? how will it work with my mods (diy intake, straight pipe exhaust, and custom tunes.)? ThankYou

also my future goals maybe consist of new injectors and a fuel system.

Yep. Complete drop in. Will work just fine with your current set-up. Will work.great with injectors and fuel system as long as you don't go too large.

Thank you, I plan on keeping it pretty tame, I plan on a fuel system no matter what then maybe add small injectors later on in the future. Thanks for the advice.

38r is a bad azz drop in turbo.... put mine threw hell and back and its still going strong... the sd66 from beans is the same... both close to the max hp numbers too....

I've heard......hopefully my sound deadener helps me not get annoyed of it. I'm pretty set on getting a 38r as it's about all I can afford...

My buddy has one on his 02, I really like the whistle but then again I havent daily drove a truck with a 38r so that opinion might vary. Either way it is a very solid turbo and spools very nicely.
