    Catalyst Monitor

Hi, After clearing codes on the ECU the EGR and Catalyst Monitors need to run again. How many miles does it take for the Catalyst monitor to complete usually? Thanks!

    Readiness Monitors

I'm in Cali. I'm finding out because H&S tune turns off the diagnostic codes related to the monitor they never complete because it doesn't spit out a pass or fail to the monitor. For example if the EGR fails the diag test it throws the DTC codes and the EGR monitor shows complete because it had...

    Readiness Monitors

Sorry to bring this up from the dead. When you say the H&S doesn't turn the monitor off is that only if you select the tune that says you have no removed the equipment? What about if you have selected the option that emission devices are not present because it's all removed? I believe the status...

Midwest diesel 6.4 dual fuelers for sale!

Sorry to bring this older thread up. Does anyone have pictures of the system installed? I want to see how the lines are run and if it will clear all the custom items on my engine. I have some lines that run on the passenger side of the engine and trying to figure out if it will interfere with...

    Scaling MAF for Intake

Footlong70 I agree with what you're saying. The rescaling of the table allows correct calibration of the sensor output vs air flow. If the stock diameter of the intake pipe is 4" and you put that sensor in a intake pipe that is (we'll go on the extreme) 36" in diameter. If you flow 100CFM of air...

HPFP how to determine its leaking

Hi, With the tube to injector lines you can run the engine with valve covers off and command a higher rail pressure to see if there are leaks but how would you be able to tell if the HPFP is leaking from that seal? Without taking everything apart. If engine is EGR/DPF deleted and all lines at...

this is why we can't have nice things....

Do you have any pics of where the K16 pump leaks at? My crankcase was full of fuel too and pulled the motor for a rebuild. I took the K16 apart and it looks brad new. Which seal would you be talking about? I suspect mine filled up from an injector line since they were replaced.

    MCC configuration / temp

Hi all, I have a question for the experts out there. Does anyone have a true definition of what the config 0 / temp 0, config 1 / temp 1 etc etc actually mean? Do we know how the ECU determines when to use which tables? Like is Temp 0 used during ambient temps from 0-30 deg and temp 1 30-60 etc...

powerstroke 6.4 o-ring cylinder head question

Hi I have a question for those that o-ringed your heads. Does the o-ring crush on the most inner part of the head gasket or does it line up with that groove indentation of the head gasket? Thanks!

Modifying stock low pressure turbine housing

Sorry never saw the reply. So what gains are to keeping it? Cant see why they added that to try to straighten exhaust flow? Seems to be more of an obstruction. Must be some how related to emissions when things dont make sense lol

    X,Y scale units

Thanks for the explanations. I should be able to figure out more with seat time. I'm grateful for what MCC provides us...one feature that would make life so easy is something I use in my gas engine standalone. The follow me mode is great because it highlights the table cells live that the ECU is...

    X,Y scale units

Interesting. Okay I understand. Last question for now I hope you can answer mm^3 cubic millimeters what are they trying to represent? I know the values in the cells represent represent uSec microseconds, value across the x-axis represent looks to be fuel pressure in psi and y-axis is that mm^3...

    X,Y scale units

What does the torque scale lb/ft 0 to 811 represent? Engine load? Or injector duty cycle? Or is it a way to represent throttle position? I'm confused on how to interpret what it means since it doesn't actually represent actual crankshaft torque every engine could be different. Thanks to anyone...
