5r trans problem??

When the rear tires break loose, like wet roads etc, the trans will sometimes either stick in a lower gear and refuse to upshift until I slow WAAAYY down or will act like it's stuck in neutral until I slow down. Trans is a Ford OEM replacement, only about 8k miles on it. I am running Gearhead...

Back spacing/offset

I've made up my mind to just do a 4" lift and some 35x12.50x20's for now. Question I have is what back spacing/offset will I need to clear to the leaf springs on my truck?

What have you done to your powerstroke today?

Did the side molding delete mod and removed the Powerstroke badges. Now I need to find that eraser thing to finish removing the adhesive. Got most of it off, just need to remove the rest of it and polish it up.

I'm sitting leveled on 285/75/16's now. Definitely wanna go taller and wider on wheelsand tires.

Door Open Light

After washing my truck, the door open light usually stays on for a little while, but would evntually shut off. Well, today I washed the truck and now the light won't go off at all. I've checked all the doors and they are closed. Any ideas?

how many miles on your 6.0?

193k...only real problems were trans at 180ish and oil cooler at 190k...went ahead and "bullet proofed" it when the oil cooler was done.

That's the thing, I thought I wanted to do a lifted truck, but as I said, I have come to really like the leveled/small lift as well. Just can't make up my mind.

I'm not too worried about getting in/out of the truck, I'm 6' 3". Just looking for other's experiences/input. I plan on doing some weekend racing at the track as well. Decisions, decisions......

its a love, hate relationship.

Even after dropping almost 12 grand into mine in less than 6 months, I still love it. It ran great for nearly 185k before problems arose, and the last 50k or so was tuned and beat on pretty hard. Never blew a hg, but killed a trans and hpop. The rest was preventative.
