another compound question

first off the truck will get supporting mods, and if needed i will firering the heads, goal is about 600hp(yes i know borrowing time on the bottom end) trucks a 96 ccsb with a 5 speed will probably end up with 37's on it(3.73 i beilive). i live at 6500 feet currently and i would like to stick...

How's every ones 6.4 stock tranny holdin up?

amen to that. mine lasted less then 5k after the tuner/delete. i drive like and ass and had 37s also tho.....

Well I pulled a good grade 6% and layed into it in 5th kinda lugging the motor it hit 1150 but I don't see it hitting any hotter then that... yup guess its time for custom tunes

Just curious what egts I should hit at wot empty? Truck is a five speed intake, 3" down pipe 4" strait pipe. And a ts 6 position chip.. on the race 85hp with my foot stuffed I see about 25ish psi and my egts don't get above 950 no smoke seems kinda low but I have never owned a 7.3 or driven one...

No issues besides it was getting 14mpg everywhere no matter what... seemed to regen every 100-150 miles even doing 85 on the freeway... or towing.. didn't really brother me.. honestly I feel and its my personal feeling, that they are seriously over engineering these truck just look at some of...

35x12.5x20 and I can take about an inch out of it.. its getting a winch bumper soon and I moved it before I trimmed the bumper so it does stick out a ways

jake brake

If your looking for a sound like a Jake brake don't bother...... better off strait piping and downshifting sounds more like a Jake then this exhaust brake.. makes a super annoying hissing sound when engaged at low rpms and sounds like a jet at higher rpms(which is the only time you actually feel...

That's is correct.. some of the cheaper ones have holes drilled in the flapper to control bp but the us gear has an actual waste gate to control it..... btw mines on and its OK its honestly anoying if your below 2k and flip it on and the felt effects empty our not very impressive

this happened to me also but luckely the h&s will write over it.. then you will have the h&s "stock" file

had a brain fart sorry bolt pattern is 8*170 has a +18 offset 9" wide tires 10 ply load range e lt35*12.5*20
