    Coming up I26 west into NC and heard a bang and then whooosh. It looks like the pipe that connects the two turbos (under the fuel cooler) blew apart. I am waiting on a 24h diesel mech but any info or anyone around here (saluda nc) I could really use some help. Thank you

    No they found another seal in Richmond so as soon as they get it, they will put it in for us. The wife and kids (3 year old and 18 month old) are starting to get restless.

    Blew the rear pinion seal on the 450 heading to Fla. I am at Sheehy Ford in Ashland for a few hours while they fix it. Anyone from around here?

    Truck is going to stay bone stock. Also it's a 2003, is there a specific injector for this year or will any 6.0 injector work?

    Update 2: took it to ford and they said its an injector (number 2) that stays open allowing compression to enter the fuel passage which starves the other injectors of fuel. He said he has seen it before. He suggests I change the injector and the one beside it and that should fix it. My question...

    This is a brand new reman that he hasn't installed in his truck yet.

    Ficm from friends truck maintains 48v. Truck still runs rough and loses power until it stalls out.

    Filters have been a while (7-8 months ago). I will try to get the insight hooked tonight or tomorrow.

    Update: installed ficm from a running truck and still have the same problem. The truck starts and runs fine when cold and as it warms up it starts to idle rough and lose power to the point that it will stall and barley start and then stall right away. I haven't had a chance to volt test the ficm...

    Just want to confirm its the ficm. KOEO I have 48v when I start it it drops to 28v and truck runs rough.

    I have a bone stock 03 excursion that the ficm just went out on. I was wondering if there are any benefits to running a modded ficm compared to a stock ficm on a stock truck. Thank you

    EGR Delete

    I deleted my egr before I updated my dash daq. I had a check engine when I would start it but I would erase it immediately but the wrench would still be on. I don't think it does anything for performance.
