Does this have a history of gaining oil? If so, take loose the lower charge air boot and see if any oil comes out.
This sounds like trucks I've had that the cac had more than 3 qts of oil in it. They will eventually run away
I was dead set on the neoprene ones, then I had a truck come in that had them. Every single time I got out of the truck and shut the door, I received the biggest shock ever. Like it stung like none other.

If it's a no start when hit then chances are younindeed have an internal oil leak in the high psi oil system. Pressuring the hpo system with shop air is the best way to test this, and or remove ipr to see if there is metal debris on screen. Or if screen is punctured
do you have a set of up pipes to recommend?
My DI stainless pipes, which I've had since I changed turbo finally cracked and I'm scared I won't find a welder.

Either way, go grab a new OEM sensor front he dealer with the new wiring pigtail, splice in new wiring, and be set.

Imo, 3 cycles isn't enough. I've done quite a few of these and my rule with every thing is 6 cycles, 20-30 seconds each. You should Def notice a change in pump tone once it lugs down and is pushing straight fuel.
