So I got all the cladding removed on my wife's '01 Excursion and the new stone deflectors came in for behind the rear tires. Looks like they'll go in nice and easy, but was curious if it would be a good idea to put a thin weatherstripping along the top edge to prevent any rubbing of paint...

Don't recall a frame-mounted step for Fords... might call Tough Country down in El Campo, TX... they'd be your best bet besides building your own.

My 2000 F250 with the 7.3 can see up to gross trailer weight of 28K during hay season, granted the trans and TC are built and chosen specifically for extreme towing duties in the 100+ degree Texas summer heat. It's not as quick as the 6.7 but does just fine using DP Tuner 40 hp tow tune.

So my 2015 F350 DRW currently has 35x12.5R17s on the factory wheels with a ReadyLift lift and level that looks to be the 3" front and 2" rear kit. Lift seems way excessive for the tire size; my gut says I might be able to run the same tires on a factory suspension... spring code is CCDD I know...
