    Pulling engine cab on.

    I bought a snap-on 3/8 mid length socket for the torque converter nuts so you can take the inspection plug out on the bottom of rear cover so you can get right at them.Makes it way easier I also use a starter button to bump the motor over to get the torque converter nuts out.

    I know this is a older thread but figured I'd post on how I pull the engine cab on.I take the core support out radiator and intercooler out the rest of the front clip can stay on.I remove the turbo and uppipes and the windshield cowl on driver side to access the degas bottle bracket it's 3 bolts...

    Yeah I read that to somewhere also I'm going to just take it apart and clean all the sealant off and use the ta-31 I have a brand new front cover gasket the other gaskets are cheap.

    No I haven't I let the truck sit for a few hours and I rechecked the oil level in the hpop revisor and it was about full I will check level again truck has been sitting for a few days now.

    I have a 1999 7.3 that will not start until the oil pressure gauge moves it takes at least 15 secs or more for the oil pressure gauge to move.Once it moves engine builds icp pressure but it takes a long cranking to start even after it starts and runs for a few mins and you shut it off it does...

    Probably a dumb question I'm in the middle of doing a 6.0 rebuild for a customer I was putting the front cover and rear cover on today a long with upper and lower oil pan gaskets.I normally use the ta-31 sealant well I used the ta-30 instead my part guy gave me the ta-30.I used it on the rear...

    I had a sct livewire on my 6.4 it locked up wouldn't do anything called sct they basically told me sorry about your luck and this was years ago before the epa came down on them.

    No different than sct they won't support unlocked ****** tuner if there is a problem with it. I'll get what I want for it I'm in no hurry to sell it

    2005 superduty auto locking hubs over ride.

    Get you a vacuum pump and a revisor from a superduty then build a switch panel to operate the vacuum pump you will also need the vacuum solenoid that feeds the auto lock hubs.

    Do a network test to make sure all the modules are talking to each other through the canbus network
