Well, it's under warranty and will be done a the Stealership, so if they fry it, all the better. If I were doing it myself, I'd just drop the pan and do it that way.- ToMang07

I have my 50k service coming up soon, getting the tranny flushed is definitely on the docket. Both because it's under warranty... and the dipshits at ford deleted the dipstick/fill tube. -.-- ToMang07

2011 6.7 Issues to be concerned about. Is this a good deal??
Other than rust.... my biggest concern would be the HPFP. If you're doing the full diet... yeah, that's about it. -

Cruise Control Feature Not Working
If the truck had ACC yes, any issues (like missing sensor/harness) the truck sees will disable CC. What scan tool are you using? Why was the ACC removed? -

Cold start upgrades
I removed the intake heater back in the day, I found it to be useless, really just for making the exhaust look cleaner. Strong batteries and healthy glow plugs.... and quality oil.... made way more difference than anything else. I'd definitely run a good anti-gel as well.- ToMang07

water in fuel alarm
As already stated.... 10 year old thread. But...sounds like what is wrong is the system is disconnected/eliminated, lmfao, of course you'll get the light if the sensor is disconnected/removed. -

to lift or not?
I was running a 2" lift with 37s, was way too tall for my 5r. I took the rear blocks out so it's stock in the back now, but it's still too tall. I'll probably move back to 35s after these tires.- ToMang07

F250 rust
I suspect if you get under the cab you'll find a lot more rust. Unless it's free... I doubt it's that good a deal. Good for parts.- ToMang07

New project
IMO, stick with what you know works. IIRC the larger injectors were more prone to cups cracking, and if you were happy with the previous setup... don't fix what aint broke.- ToMang07

10R140 failure
Haven't seen many since the recall went out. IIRC they initially had issues with a bushing or bearing, I can't remember. Mine has just south of 35k, plowed with, towed ~14Kish between 5th wheel toyhauler and tractor, and otherwise abused rolling on 37s. I'm very happy with it so far, but Charles...- ToMang07
