1.10 should work nice. Might be a tiny bit laggy with the zf5, but I would not want to go to a 1.00 if I was you. I talked to a few guys about 472s... one had one with a 1.00 housing and 300/200s and said it ran great just back pressure was on the high side, so 250s and a 1.10 should be sweet...- GM Duraturd

I miss the green truck. Alot of memories in that thing, but it was getting rough around the edges, just wish it didnt go out like that. I have more miles in the red truck while it was under Johns ownership than since I bought it LOL- GM Duraturd

No need for fire rings at this level. I personally wouldnt put them in a daily driver anyway. They have been known to crack with heat cycles all the time. Stock gaskets, head studs, and good tuning will be fine.- GM Duraturd
