ok need some more help. Had the truck at the dealer for some other stuff and they took a little look. Told me that the "found relays missing ground from GEM MOD". Where is the GEM MOD? any other help would be great.

thanks for the advise I plan on checking things out tomorrow after work. Just had a bunch of high pressure oil leaks fixed hope its just something stupid.

This morning I go to put my truck in 4 wheel drive and get no light and no 4x4. Any common area's I should look at? 06 CCSB 6.0 with ESOF.

will a hand held scanner tell me that? If so I can borrow one

its a 06 that is stock besides exhaust. I let the glow plugs cycle twice before trying to start it

I should have added more info in the first place that is what happens when you make a post after to many cold ones. After letting the truck sit 17 hours it took almost a min of cranking time (breaks during that time) for it to fire up and once started the glow plug light came on for a few sec...

wondering what to look at? If my truck sits long (few hours) it does not fire right up once it starts it runs perfect. What could be going south? Engine has 120,000 miles on it.
