I had a similar issue after I put in new injectors. Pulled my hair out looking for the problem. Ended up having a pin slid up in the injector harness where it connects to the injector. Not saying that's the problem, but I overlooked something easy and it took me awhile to find it.

Isn't there a weep hole on the bottom fuel pump that will leak when the pump is starting to go bad?

Do you have a wider range of view with the new mirrors? We have a F550 rescue truck on our fire dept and really wonder if the 08 mirrors would give us a better range of view.

I had this happening on my 07. My leak was at my hubs. Easiest way I found to do this was take a handheld vac pump (had to borrow one from a friend) and unhook from the pump on the pass side of the engine compartment. I kept moving the pump further on each connection till I found the problem...

Is the fan shutting off or is it directing air out the defrost? A vacuum leak will direct the air out the defrost, but not shut the fan off.
