08 6.4 turbo squeal

Under pretty heavy boost (30 or so) there is a turbo squeal. I hear nothing at the lower levels, but it really comes out in that high boost. Any ideas?

What's EBP reading? Check to see if the VGT actuator is moving freely, sometimes those can go bad. If you can, it may be worth pulling the crossover pipe and checking for any shaft play. A little is normal, a lot is bad.

I don't have any way to read EBP. I assume that means exhaust back pressure?

Would also check for exhaust leaks.. Had the same problem twice.. One was uppipes and one was at back of manifold where a bolt backed out.

Mine was squealing at high boost too. The new cac pipe i installed has been backing the bolts out every so often
