you may want 08 captains seats also
the 08 console will interfere with the armrest built in to the - 07 seats

it sits close enough to the console that you can just reach an open hand down between the console and seat

get the 08 console brackets and you may want to make some adjustment blocks

my console is repositioned to be 3" higher and 2" back because I am tall

and all the 08 ones I'm seeing fit right with the driver and pass seat... I was just worried bout getting an 08 console to replace my jump seat and have a 6" gap between the seat and console ya know.

if anything, there wont be enough room to clear the armrests. you also could go with the 03-07 console...

I have a front bench currently, (two seats and a jump seat/arm rest in the middle)

was thinking of doing the captians chairs and center console from an 03-07 truck, or just keep my current seats and putting an 08 console in..

sorry for the confusion.

I'd go with the 08 console, if I ever find one close enough one will be going in my truck....seems like a pretty simple and clean upgrade/install...

I like the console vaults they make for em too. make it a nice safe place to keep the truck pistol.

i have a 6.7 in my 02, getting ready to swap 08 dash too. i run dual captains chairs with the arm rest, all you do is just flip them up. ive tried both the 08 and the full flow through. There is a small gap but its not a eye sore. 08 console is hands down way better then 99-07 but they get pricey and are hard to get sold by themselves

ill take some pictures later on and post them for ya, there is a small gap but honestly i dont think it would but most people, the benefits of the console are WAY better. you can't have manual 4x4 also, has to be esof.

Would that console fit in a regular cab truck?

yeah im 99% sure it does and im pretty sure i knew someone that did put it in but his problem was that he had a manual tcase, hence why i said esof. It only goes like two inches further where the seats go back at the farthest position.

oh that's not bad, I think it looks better because it has a larger gap....I think if it was close but still had a gap it wouldn't look right, but that honestly doesn't look to bad.....how was the install? And does it sit high enough to work as an arm rest? also does it just sit there, or was there a way to bolt it in? I thought I wanted an 08 console, but that might be the way to go......

Off to look for a tan one...lol

works way better then the armrest, its about 4 inches taller then where the seat arm rest lay. Its a lot more comfortable, not sure how to explain it.. install was simple, drop it between the two and put the seat bolts in. 30 mins tops

I have the 08 console in my single cab, it sits up higher then the 03-07 console and IMO looks way better. I don't have factory seats but I can take some pics if you want.

Sorry for the derail. Have you started your dash conversion yet? I'd like to follow that project for sure.
