08 tailgate/tail lights on 04

i want to take my old tailgate and tail lights off and put 08s up there. does the tail gate just pop on like the old one? and do the lights install like the old ones? thanks

You need the drivers side hinge and the reverse light pigtails. Other than that they go right on.
