And it still won't if you cut it.

You only cut off the inside lip off. Done properly you can't see any difference.
When I had 315/75/16s on mine I just bent the lip flat with a crescent wrench LOL
& I've never gotten 315s to hit the plastic, and have had my truck twisted to the point of fearing frame damage. But, my truck does have the 3 leaf front springs, as opposed to some have two.

Spacing it out an inch really doesn't look bad in person. I considered cutting mine but was worried the chrome would start to peel and flake.

Yeah, that's why I bent mine. But my friends have just covered the cuts with clear touch up paint, with no peeling yet. ~3 years

How does that work? My 35s rub like a bastard on my front springs.

Ordering spacers in a few weeks to help that though.

I know of many trucks with cut/trimmed bumpers, and no rust or anything. No reason not to do it, and if you do it right you'll never know its been modded.

More than 11 wide maybe? On Alcoas or steel?
Do they just rub the springs at full turn?

Alcoas. The tires are 315's. They rub when in forward/reverse and anywhere near full lock. The lugs are so deep and rub so hard that if I come to a stop, crank the tires all the way to the lock, the lugs on the tires grab the springs so hard I really have to push my foot down to even be able to move forward LOL

Lol Wow. Are they freakin tsl boggers or what?
Maybe they're like 315/65s? A little wider?
Cuz I had 315/75 bfg a/ts on my steel wheels, and they would almost never touch the springs

No but they are mud tires. I think they are 315 75's though. Its realy annoying because when I'm going slow enough and turning hard enough, every time a lug hits the leaf spring the whole truck shakes
