I don't know what exactly the differences are, but I'm pretty sure the rust free box I got for my 350 came off of 150 an the middle 2 bolts didn't line up. When I had my old mud truck(started out as a '92 F150), 1 of the first times I lifted it, I went an got rear springs from a 250 an that brought the ass end up roughly 3" over the stock leafs and it was a direct bolt in. With that truck I ended up boxing most of the frame an it got way carried away with lift an all that.
There's been a few people that have swapped 7.3's into Bronco's an I never heard them complain about that frame. Although everyone I've read about also had '05 & up sd axles an suspension swapped in as well.
