So I replaced the u joints cause I had some play & wobble. I used O Reilly's MasterPros 331s. The one at the transaxle & carrier bearings are great. But when I went for a test drive the one at the transaxle lost a cap. I did notice 2 things, when I installed those caps on the one that fell of it went in so easily. So either I got the wrong one or my drive shaft is worn. It's a 2 piece shaft so can I just buy the rear part of the shaft? Or did I get the wrong u joint? All info appreciated thankS!

You should have 1330F for the front joint and 1350 for the pinion joint.
1330F is a typical 1330 with caps that are 1/16 oversize.

I would also avoid parts store u-joints. I played that game with some 'lifetime warranty' AutoZone joints and got tired of replacing them every 5k miles. Went with Spicers and haven't looked back.

1330 for the one at the transfer case & 1350 for the one at the axle, got it. What about the center u joint?

Also I just checked specs on both. The u joint I used from oreillys Cap OD is 1.188" the spicer cap OD is also 1.188". The only difference I saw was the length spicer is 3.625" & oreillys is 3.622". I'm not saying I don't appreciate the spicer part numbers cause I do, I couldn't find them before & that's why I got these. But would that .003" really give it enough slop to cause the cap to fall off while driving? Or should I assume it's the shaft?
Thanks again.

Also I just called the parts store I order the spicers. The 1350 isn't the part bumber just the series. So is 5-799x the correct part number?
