1995 F250 shakey idle?miss?

Thanks for the help guys i took the icp solenoid out and cleaned it up just to try it and put it back in and started it and drove it. It seems to idle better and the cel went off but when i start the truck up after it sets all night i get a lot of white smoke is that oring problems?As far as the cps i have a borg warner one from Slowreily's.

The only info here that is important since we don't have any data to look at is the fact that idle doesn't change when he unplugs the icp sensor. That alone is enough to tell you that the sensor needs replaced.

Also, no offense Houston, but this grey, black, purple, Martian green cps stuff is a crock. A good current cps for the 7.3 from either international or ford will work fine.

As far as the ipr solenoid wiggling a bit, that's perfectly normal. If the nut is tight, you are good.

A crock my ass. Im not trying to start internet wars here, but when I had my 7.3, every grey new ford cps I tried in it would throw #8 and sometimes #3. Swapped it with my buddies black cps from his 97 right before he sold it. Never had another issue. I will agree I have heard that NOW it doesnt matyer what color you get, but this was not the case previously. And it has been well documented. My point was maybe the o.p.'s truck has an older cps in it causing these codes

I would get a new ford cps. And as far as your smoke, could just be normal cold weather starting, worn injectors, glow plugs not working correctly, or o rings.

Get one from ford and put the orieleys one in the toolbox ICE. If you are in the LR area, you can get one from Diamond International too.

I have a 95 F-2-FITTY myself. 18 years old buddy. Toss some O-rings on it. You will be surprised how they just fall apart. Check your fuel filter for motor oil. She will run better
Because the injectors will be able to use all the HPO the pump is providing. I changed my dads 97,a friends 97 and my 95 and they were all smoked.
