Hi guys I have a 1997 f250 that Iam putting a stick in. I have the 5 speed wiring harness it plugs right into were the auto one would is that all I need for the wiring? Iam using a stick ecm out of a 95 f250.
Well, he will have to hook up the clutch interlock switch assembly for correct cruise control and start up interlocks. Has to remove the auto jumper block and hook up to the clutch interlock switch.
Since he's going to a stick, he can use the auto PCM (auto functions will be unused). May need to get a chip to correct possible throttle glitches or have the PCM reprogrammed to suit.
Iam using a stick shift DCM from a 95 and the 5 speed harness for my swap. The truck is a 97 the two plug right togather. Thats all I need right in the engine bay. I know under the dash I need to wire the clutch pedal were do I wire it to? Thanks guys
Hey guess I went out to the shop here are some pics. I found this pig tail. It is the one that plugs into the clutch pedal right the other pics are the 5 speed Barnes plugged into the auto one. Thanks for your help guys
