I can't figure out how to post pictures.. The truck also has a power max turbo, sct custom tunes from innovative, gooseneck hitch, edge programmer that I use for digital gauges. The 2008 tail gate has the step and back up camera built in.

Thanks EnterKO! Do you have any idea what it may be worth?

No problem. Your truck looks really good.

It's always hard to put a price on something like this. Obviously this truck will appeal to anyone interested in aftermarket trucks, as your have about the perfect set up for a 6.0, but it's hard to find buyer's that can appreciate these things.

I would say that if you took some high quality pictures of the truck when it is clean this will go a long way towards helping it sell. If you found someone looking to get into a reliable 6.0 that already has tires, wheels, bumpers ect. this would probably be worth $25,000 or maybe even more. Hopefully the salvage title doesn't effect anyone's decision. (different areas command more or less for the same truck)

Good luck with the sale...

Salvage title kills the value quite a bit. Definitely nice looking truck.

The rule of thumb is salvage title is supposed to make the truck half of what it's worth. I say that is BS, if you have it fixed with documentation it should be fine. 25k does sound about right.

I dont believe that it should be worth half because you cant even tell its been wrecked. I have most of the receipts and documentation for all the work done to the truck. 25k does sound like a fair number.

Questions I don't know the answer to:

  1. Will banks offer financing on salvage titles?
  2. What about insurance? Can you get full coverage from most companies on salvage titles?

The answers to those questions could affect the value of a vehicle to potential buyers. Again, I'm just posing the questions. I don't know the answers.

Edit: Google is your friend. LOL

I paid cash for the truck from day 1 so I have never tried to get financing. insurance was not a problem at all. I told them it was a salvage title and they just asked me how much it was worth and asked me to get a mechanics report to get full coverage.

What would you appraise the value at?

More around the 20 range. You can't really figure in mods lift this and that. Also like Nape stated for loans you can't really get a car loan for that and insurances usually dont cover them... Not to knock on your truck but the veichle is almost 10 years old too.

Just like I want a reliable tow rig but I am not paying 20k for some old ass 7.3. It just is not worth that kinda money imo.

Honestly I cant see you getting more than 17-19K out of your truck. Alot of those mods you posted will actually decrease the value of the truck in their mind.

My buddy was trying to sell is 2007 Chevy LBZ Duramax awhile back that had a built tranny and Airdog with EFI tunes by Idaho Rob with 97K miles. He listed it on Craigslist with all the mods and got a few calls on it but no one was interested because of what was done to it. He listed it on there as a stock truck and probly got three times the calls he got the first time it was posted.
