2011 6.7 EGT Bank 3

Buddy just bought an 11 with about 170K on it. Drove it about 1K miles and it told him to stop safely and shut down. Code was for #3 EGT. He went to replace the #3 egt sensor and it wasn't there, just an empty bung. Installed #3 egt sensor and it did the same thing after about a 1/2 mile. He disconnected batteries but the code will not go away. Does it need to be reset with IDS? Here are a list of codes (read with a cheap code reader) he had before the batteries were disconnected:

P200C Particulate filter over temp
P200E Catalyst system over temp
P0673 Cylinder 3 Glow plug circuit
P242D EGT Bank 3
P20BD Reductant heater control circuit.

Now it still has the #3 EGT , Cylinder 3 glow plug, and two others I cant remember right off the top of my head.

Any ideas appreciated!!
