Fellas,

I need to pull the driver seat out of my 2015 F350 Platinum. I haven't even pulled the plastic caps over the mounting hardware, but wanted any insight or "oh by the way" notes from any of you guys that have done it.

Special tools, special processes, special notes?

Thanks in advance.

Semper Fi,
Luke

It's pretty easy. There's usually a wire under the seat that needs disconnected. Even without power seats. I think it's for airbag/seat belt. Don't worry. Ive had them out a few times on my 2001,2002, and 2012. They just come right out. Just fully recline the back as far forward as it will go to get it out of the cab.

Thanks for the intel.

Turned out straight forwards as advertised.

1. Using standard socket on 3/8 drive remove front two mounting bolts
2. Move seat all the way forward
3. Disconnect battery
4. Remove rear 2 mounting bolts
5. Disconnect 2 power harnesses (hinge lock type with locking tab)
6. Remove seat
