Symantics are derailing this otherwise good thread.

First off, Smut has a point. A newcomer to PSDs, or anyone else not knowing any better would read the thread title and think it's stock fuel all the way to the sticks.
Come to think of it, didn't this adventure start with stock engine side delivery when it was on PSN? Maybe not, but I seem to recall something along those lines. Maybe a different thread.......dunno.

Smut knows what a RR is I'm fairly certain. And this is definetly NOT the place to start another pissing match about the merits of a RR vs. stock.

So please guys, can we get this thread back on track? We're already up to two pages of useless crap. I am very interested to see how well (read: how much longer) the trans and turbo hold up.

And those guys that thought that would be correct...cause it is stock fuel all the way to the sticks. With the exception of the injectors of course.

Don't get me wrong. I totally see what you're saying.

I just think it's coming down to symantecs. Some people consider a RR to be a mod to fuel delivery.

OTOH, the stock pump and lines are delivering fuel to the engine so by the strictest of terms the phrase "stock fuel deivery" is true.

I don't really care either way. This is a "saga" I've enjoyed following from the start and I just don't want to see it get fubared.

agreed. It is just simply amazing stonepusher's truck runs as strong as it does with stock lines and stock pump along with stock trans and turbo. It's all in the tuning and the truck is a freak lol.

no doubt his truck is a (wednesday truck) as Chris said, but we all know the tuning is the biggest aspect of a strong running 6.0.

when it comes to tuning, having it live tuned is how your gonna see your trans live longer and happier.

id advise anyone looking for a top notch tune to call Chris over at Truck Source and have him get you a tune. ive ran his tunes in the past and they were the strongest running tunes ive had.

I think the rr is helping the stock pump hold pressure. Having the unused fuel return to the tank is helping pressurerize the system prepump which is letting the pump help itself vs dead heading it.

Its helping pressurize the system? So the tank is completely sealed? No vents? Why didn't someone think of this before? Maybe I can hook an air line from my air tank to my fuel tank and pressurize it and never have fuel pump issues again.

The stock system is already regulated and returned. It's just before the heads not after.

Well, This weekend at the Texas Truck Nationals I will be going for 12's on Fuel and 11's on spray, with the early lock up I am pretty confident that it has 12's on fuel in it. If it runs 12.99 on fuel the next pass with be spraying for an 11.99, Trans hasn't been feeling good lately but we shall see what it still has left in it.

Went to a dyno event yesterday and my truck put down 484hp on fuel and 668hp on spray, these numbers are pretty spot on with the HP calculator. Although the stock turbo, stock trans, and stock fuel pump have lasted and performed far beyond my expectations it is time for them to be retired and move on to bigger, better, and faster things.......soon to come 66 non-vgt, BTS trans, airdog, and possibly a set of hybrids.

that thing is a beast man. But, 484 on fuel with stock turbo, stock sticks and fuel system, and stock trans? That number seems a bit high for just basic mods(exhaust, intake and a race tune). Does the truck have a tuned FICM alos?

Those numbers look right to me, live tuning helps big time. Im shooting for over 500 on the stock turbo real soon.. got some tricks up my sleeve. It should work quite well, it'll be a little smokey though

I have 225/100's hence the title of the thread, the injectors are tuned so that the turbo or trans didn't grenade immediately. The ficm is not tuned.

With 225's you could be spraying a LOT more nitrous then a .88 jet, we had 3 stages on the ranger when it had 225's and a stock turbo and hpop. We were going thru about 10lbs of spray every pass, there was no smoke left it was almost 'banks power clean' going down the track. With more spray you should easily be able to dip into the 11's with no problem. Good luck!
