As many of you know im selling my 366 single kit and after super08dutys post i was getting worried the last thing i want to do is rip someone off. I measured my shaft play( in and out) it was about .0035 is that ok? The side to side up and down seem to be about that much too(can't get a good measurement on it on my truck) thanks

thats 3 in the last month, 2 were batmos on the s366 chassis. every company has their ups and downs and I will say they did take care of the turbo, and Bill was very nice and diligent BUT I just got hit with another tow bill for $256.66 yesterday. seems colton and I weren't just a coincidence. Craig I was throwing 200cc's (backed off from tuning) at my bullseye.. 46/54 boost/bp..

My Bullseye 466 had way too much shaft play within 3k too and I didn't get so lucky to have a warranty as I had it sitting for to long before it was installed...

How often did you guys that have blown turbos (in/out play excessive) chop the throttle quickly and let the turbo bark? I had a setup with a s475 a couple years ago and that thing LOVED to bark when i chopped the throttle, sometimes 6-7 times in a row. I think the barking turbo led to premature failure as i went through a couple centersections pretty quickly. Also a customer of mine on a 7.3 still, had just a few thousand miles on his 475 and barked the turbo every shift on his manual trans and the turbo didnt last at all.

Blowoff valve?

Blowoff valve?

In my case my bov doesnt do me any good. the turbo would bark right before the tranny shifted if i didnt let off before shifts. i could keep it from barking at wot by dumping the boost to the bov but that only helped when on the track or on the hwy when i would floor it. nothing i could do to keep it from barking if it wanted to while passing someone on the street under moderate throttle.

Ya the problem I have is it barks when the tc locks, (seems to be better with smaller tires) so a blow of valve really doesn't help
