Anyone running a s467.7fmw turbo on a 6.0. I know people are running a lot of s300s and and some s400s. I'm curious if anyone has put a s467.7 on a 6.0 yet and has run one. I'm planning to go that route on my truck but can't find anyone that's running it.

Sounds good to me. I figure it should spool nice. They run awesome on every other motor out there but not much talk with that turbo on a 6.0. I'm going to assume that turbo flows enough air to break 700rwhp

I plan on running a fmw in a s300 frame. As soon as the wife allows me to pull the trigger I was thinking 67.7/73/.91and keep my 190/100's

Waste gate? Maybe if I had a baby s300 w a small turbine housing and turbine wheel. I have never had a gate on any truck I own.

To be honest these spool just as nice as a s366. I had one on my 7.3 in my sig on a customers ppump 24v and it spooled and light faster then the cast 64mm charger on it. But it's $1000 more to have it setup to run on my truck so I may just try a billet 6 blade s366 with a race cover for now see if I can hit the 700rwhp goal. And go from there.

Yeah but what can that 67fmw flow in comparison to a box 66? If it can spool as quickly but flow a ggood bit more I would consider it.

I just dont know if I want to bite the $1000 extra now for it. Were I need to call precision on a converter and tcs on a input shaft As I can do a billet s366 and race cover should flow close to 88lbs a min. As the s468fmw flows 95lbs a min roughly.

You're comparing a 73/80 turbine wheel and a 74/83 turbine wheel. the s400 frame has a larger heavier shaft as well. Highly doubt you'll see similar spool up between the s366 and s467. The 467 does flow quite a bit more air though. There is a 67.7fmw available for the s300 frame that flows about the same air as the wheel in the s467.7, would be a good option on a 6.0 daily driver.

I haven't seen that wheel offered in a s366 as a Borg wheel. And as far as spool up goes if you have not run one don't question how well it spools till you have run one your truck. And yes I'm looking for a daily/tow rig that makes close to 700rwhp on fuel single turbo setup. We will see if I can do it. I don't see it bein a problem.

Last I checked Borg don't make a 367.7fmw it's a company making the wheel and putting it into a turbo. And the reason for the comparison to the s366 and s468. Is due to how close they are in size. And spool up. And if anyone has put one on a 6.0 and Dyno it and setups and numbers. But for me it's $1000 more for me to have a up pipe kit built for a s468 over a s366. And the s366 is a snappy lil turbo in most applications and I know both turbos are tow friendly. But we will see how the billet s366 does on the truck with the fuel I have and see what it does on the rollers. And that will determine if I go s468 or call precision for a turbo for it.

The S300 series 67.7mm FMW is made by Borg Warner and is available through certain Borg Distributors, just because it isn't offered in a 'box' unit doesn't mean it isn't available. I run one on my personal truck.
