The floor plate that the cups sit on snapped a mounting ear, so with the help of a member here I bought a cupholder set out of a part out truck he had, swiped the floor plate, figured out the chinese puzzle of springs and put it all back together. One more thing off the check list :) Now on to other small projects. My speakers and shorty antenna arrived today. I read great reviews on the kicker speakers and I had my runs with tons of stereo systems in the past. I just wanted to replace the stockers that are blown and be done with it. I actually upgraded the head unit to a 2008 nav head unit a few years ago and the speakers just finally gave up a couple weeks ago. Also my stupid factory antenna rubs everything it can so I read good reviews on this shorty antenna and gonna give it a shot. Here is a pic of the parts to go in, I will report back with how they sound. I am also most likely going to put an alpine power pack to power these up a bit and would like to eventually add an MTX single sub behind the seat just for a little lows.
