I found this gem in New Jersey. Flew out there Thursday and drove it home. Didnt think I would find exactly what I wanted.

Anyway the plan is to build a 2.5 class pull truck to compete in our local TTPA events and other local fair pulls.

The first part of winter I will be upgrading axles, driveshafts and installing drive shaft hoops and shields along with moving the hitch in and installing a roll pan along with all the other odds and ends.

Then hopefully by March Morgan will get the go ahead to build me a new motor. The motor will be a full competition motor with all the goodies. I will update my thread as I get things done.

So you can run any stock appearing or any 2.5 charger? Hmmm... That's a tough one

Per TTPA rule book:
A stock appearing single, stock appearing twins, or S-4/T4 turbo. If a stock appearing turbo system is not used than a S4 turbo is the largest allowed. Turbos must be a true 2.5 charger. No clipped wheels or step down covers. 1/4'' inch MWE groove maximum. Inducer bore must be non removable. All air must go through 2.5 inducer bore and MWE groove. The wheel must protrude into the 2.5 bore 1/8''. Turbo will be checked with a 2.550 plug.

Time for some updates.
I had a Dana 80 built with super duty sterling spindles so it looks and fits like stock. I had 4:10 gears with a Detroit locker installed. 37 spline axle shafts. LPW Dana 80 girdle.
Also installed a 20000 lb Curt hitch. I moved it as far forward as possible.

Bought a Flex a lite electric fan for a 6.0 powerstroke and fabbed in in to fit the 6.4. It actually fit pretty good! Lots of work room up front now.

One of the harder things I engineered was a mount for the weight bracket. What I ended up doing was sawing the tow hooks off that are welded on. I then replaced the hooks with a piece of 4'' wide by 3/4'' steel plate and welded receivers on.
