I don't know if I buy the 8 hole nozzle melting pistons. Rudy ran a big 8 hole for a long time with no issues as have many others.

Not saying a 6 hole isn't a good option craig has proved that it makes power. Is smoke higher... maybe who knows ... but they work

8 hole being the factor of burned up piston vs 6 hole is a complete false statement. A poorly done 6 hole will burn up a piston just as quick. Take a poor nozzle spray pattern add excessive timing and you have a burned up piston in a short period of time. Spray angle is not the same from one common rail setup to the next which many do not take the time to see how critical spray patterns can be for performance and longevity.
