Just tossing around the idea. Does anyone run NO2 on a 6.4 with arp head studs, stock fuel system and turbos? Would I benefit for it or wait until I get upgraded fuel system

I think bigrpower ran that type of setup on Godzilla when the magazine was writing on it.

a waste-gate would be necessary to control drive pressure and upgraded valve springs and push-rods are a must.

..... i wouldnt say they are a must, but he already has them. Search nitrous, i started a pretty good thread a while back on it and i know there was one other that was pretty informative. Good way to make cheap power.

Definitely need a gate, but 6.4's respond really well to nitrous.

would an external WG be good enough? i have my entire egr system up to where coolers bolts up to the tube (so i could use the original ebp sensor bung after doing the egr delete) still there can i bolt it up right there?

I'll have to look into it. What size jet do people usually run for a little boost? I don't want anything crazy. The truck is my DD and I pull and drag race on the weekends

Didn't Corselli run a crap load of spray on stock nozzles when he was in DPC? I am not sure whether he had stock nozzles or not though.

Really, it doesn't seem like there's much of a rhyme or reason to cracking pistons, so who knows. Nitrous most definitely won't help though. 2 stages coming in gradually is much safer than anything else though.

Progressive system is what I use and think it is the safest way to go about it. Especially with the weight and big tires like I have.

A single .125 jet is what I ran on the dyno...wouldn't advise that if you like your motor together lol like jd said, .70-.90 should be fine with a high pw tune. Progressive controllers are worth the money along with electric bottle heaters. Or a blow torch.
