6.4 tuner question

As I am looking for a tuner, I am looking at the SCT livewire TS. It says it has the ability to read and clear codes. Does this mean if I were to do an egr delete, it will be able to clear the code it'll throw once the egr is off? Thanks. Also wondering if this is the same for all tuners.

And also I will be getting custom tunes just not sure which ones at the moment

Make sure it's a 5015r to support a DPF delete if you plan on running custom tunes. Most got with the standard livewire if running sct. As far as monitoring you can't really beat a dashdaq. Spartan uses the dashdaq platform or you can buy one separately. Pretty much any tuner will be able to read and clear dtc's.
