6.7 driveshaft on a 6.4?

Had someone send me some pictures of this yesterday. But couldn't see if it was a shaft off of a 10+ or if it was one that was made.

Regardless I would be interested in knowing if any one has tried changing this out.

I know a few that have done 1 piece conversions, but would prefer the alluminum route if possible.

So the 11+ are aluminum?

Some are aluminum, and some are steel. CCSB's seem to all be one piece from what I have seen.

Iirc the scorpion one piece has a slip yoke into the t-case your 6.4 does not.

I guess I need to crawl under one and look this week. Would thing that would be a nice addition.

yeah its not that easy, maybe you can change out the tail shaft but i think i remember reading that the transfer case is actually different.

The 6.7s have a slip yoke in the transfer case
And from what i have seen all 6.7s are a steel rear one piece shaft for CCSB trucks, i have yet to see aluminum on one yet
