Installed a midwest kit on the pickup yesterday and everything was a great fit and seemed to be about perfect except the idler pulley, my truck is a smooth surface belt so they say to use the supplied belt. Tried to put the idler pulley where it was said to go on the front cover and the belt was about 1.5''-2" to short, checked routing and it was correct. Moved the idler pulley over to where the double sided belt trucks are supposed to be mounted and the belt was tight. Everything ran fine for the initial test drive and run around, but then it started squeaking, curious if anyone else has had this problem. Going to play around today and see if we can figure anything out.

the belt that was included in the kit was the correct part number and marked as such, however it was about an inch/inch and a half shorter than the exact same part number from the exact same manufacturer. Was rather weird, and not going to lie we were pulling our hair out over it. Especially after the guys at Midwest said they have never ran into a problem with belt fitment on the single sided belt trucks. Glad to have it fixed and couldn't be happier with the products and how the pickup runs

Good to hear! My pump from Midwest just arrived but the remainder of the parts are a little behind. Looking forward to getting this installed too!
