6.7 tick/knock

Looking at buying a 2011 with a mean tick, basically a knock, to it. Anyone ever have an experience with a sound like this? Doesn't sound bad till he revs it up a bit, than it's a definite knock.

Any codes present? If it was an injector it should have a code stored.

He says the only code is for cylinder 7 misfire.

And these guys say it's ok to hear that lifter tap after oil changes? "Harmless" as ford says.

Actually let me rephrase I have touched one. I know of a few others. The only way the customer knew something was wrong on mine was because it was hazey.
