600hp was fun but boring. Going bigger!

The build is as follows.

Filled, balanced, girdle, line honed, h11 main studs, billet rods, welded cam gear, bigger cam (not sure what), h11 head studs, ported and polished heads, fluidamper, beehive valve springs, fire rings, radiused and relieved pistons with lower compression, smith brothers push rods, 400/400's, waste gated GTX4294r, irate full fuel system, billet intake plenums, stealth dual hpop, flexalite electric fans, water methanol, and nitrous. I'll take it down to Leadhill Arkansas when its all done to have the BTS freshened up. Right now I'm running Brian Jelich's tuning. I'll probably have Matt live tune it later. I'm just waiting on the wastegate kit, flexalite fans, and nitrous to come to get it running.

Nice build. Looks like you're going to have some fun driving in the near future. What are you going to control the WG with?

Any suggestions for turbo? I found out that when I cracked a valve in the last engine, a piece went through and bent 2 of the turbine fins. Thought about maybe an s480 till I get a new chra for the GTX. Not sure if it'll even be street able with a 480 though.

Are the fluidampr's not a worry on the 7.3 trucks like they are in the 6.0 world? Seems like once every goes to a crazy build like this, they take them off. Seems they've caused more harm than good.

Awesome build man, should be a hella fun truck.

I think I just made a decision on the turbo. I'm just going to buy a new chra. There's another $1,500 out the door. :(

But what's $1,500 when you have $40,000 worth of truck already. LOL :( :evil

Yeah. This truck is definitely a mix of emotions.

I like the GTX4294. It's the perfect 7.3 turbo. I want to keep it. Besides, later down the road I'll put this engine and a different turbo setup on the race truck. I'll go back to what I had with the GTX and 250/100's on a stock bottom end in the white truck later. I'm just going to gate the hell out of the GTX and spray it the rest of the way for now.

I don't think a Tial 44 will relieve enough BP for you. Don't want to toast your new center section. :cursing:
