78 first swap

I have the truck: a 78 F250
I have the engine: 96 6BT with all of it's accessories pulled out of a fedex truck

I have never really done anything like this. I want to keep the C6 in the truck. At this point I am wanting to really start watching for things I might need and slowly gather stuff up and put it in the barn. Any tips or pointers I can get would be appreciated. I'm still foggy about hooking the C6 to the 6BT.

I did almost the same thing, 6bt out of a FedEx truck but I used a 47re. It was a really simple swap honestly, I thought it was gonna be a lot harder than what it actually was

Glad to hear! My biggest concern is hooking the two up. I have looked on ford cummins and it seems steep.

That's why I went with the dodge trans, saved alotta $ on an adapter plate an gained overdrive.
