I am on 81 headed south on vacation to GNCC race. Something let loose in Trans or transfer case. Anybody nearby near mile marker 107.9 please giver a call. I got all the tools I need to pull Trans ect would like a shop. Have friend coming for trailer but he is 3 hrs away

Yeah, Aaron and crew wont be there till 0700 at th eearliest. What gave? Are you imobilized? Try in 4wd, see if the front can pull you to an exit?

No go, looks like a shaft in the Trans or input shaft. I dropped the driveshafts and can get it towed, just don't know somebody reputable to take it too in the area. I even got a quad jack, if I don't hear anything back soon, I'm going to try to get a price of plywood from he lowes nearby and pull the trans

Sorry for your trans but ya definitely an early call to a shop. Give a call to Twisted Diesel. They are in Chesapeake, VA. 757-491-2008 Not sure where that is from you. Just looked it up as it seems it is a ways from you on the coast.
