96 Truck vs. Van

I know this has been asked a few times. But, I can't find the answer.
96 Truck Long Block vs. 96 Van Long Block.

Interchangeable? Any differences that could cause any issues?

Long block should be the same, cant say for sure about the bolt on's such as oil cooler, turbo, etc.

Should be pretty much the same for that year.

Long block is the same. I have put one in a truck before. Almost all the bolt-ons are different though.

Customer has a 7.3L E350 with a wore out engine. Wants us to rebuild his. But, he relies on his truck for his business and cant have it down long. I am trying to buy a good engine to rebuild and have it ready to minimize down time.

 

[Magnum PD]

Local machine shop has a rebuilt 7.3 for $2500 he wants gone.

Not sure if that is the exact price.
