Why go through all the effort for supporting mods for big power only to use a drop in turbo? I'm not bashing but seems like there's better turbo options that would not only run cleaner, but last longer with that big of injector

300/200 and a brute 66? Better look into a t4 s468 then a set of rods to go with that. Wha about your transmission?

I chose the injectors larger for future purposes. Truck will be tuned accordingly. I'm a supporter of the drop in just for the simplicity and the great power curve the 66 is making. I know the injectors are capable of more than my bottom end can hold

I'd buy a bts and be done with it. You'll probably be money and time ahead with a bts.

luckily im familiar with the transmission and i can pull it and rebuild it at a moments notice, on a side note i want to play with different setups to see how they feel and what components can take what abuse

Sounds like you want to learn from your own mistakes instead of learning from everyone else's. More power too you man, have fun with it but be sure to let us know how it goes.

ive seen a lot of success with the brute 66, i know it can make a lot more power than people give it credit for and i want to put it on the road as an example.

With those sticks and that turbo your driveability is going to be terrible. And the trans isnt going to like it. Just do rods and a s467 from the get go. Do it right do it once

I cant wait to post up some videos when its finished. Dyno proven has several trucks on the road with the brute and great drivability. this turbo doesn't get the credit it deserves

Because it's proven to be junk. I've personally ran a D66 and hated it.

Here's my d66 I pulled out last week. I got efuel with 160/100s. It had a billet wheel and 360 thrust bearing. I did drive it hard repeatedly and hit 35-36lbs alot. It was laggy on the bottom end and smokey as a som o bich. Lasted just over a year, I hated it. Im glad it died, sad I wasted the cash tho. I put the stocker back on while I'm fabbing up a T4 mount. Way better response although it only hits about 28lbs I need it to last. So I'm not gonna push it. Do a search on "66" style turbos lotsa ppl have the same laggy and smokey stories. I just wonder if the 468 is ok to run with 160/100s till I upgrade to 300/200s. Or if I should get a 366 till i upgrade.
