Recently picked this 99 F250 Super Duty up. 7.3, Auto, 2WD. 250+ on the motor/body and 150k on the trans. Needs brakes all around, flexplate and some odds and ends. It's my first diesel so here goes nothing
Plans are to fix what needs to be fixed first.
Installed an intake Kit from RiffRaff Diesel, 4" MBRP Turbo back exhaust, new flexplate and pads and rotors all the way around.
Trans noise at idle didn't go away, so now I assume it's the torque converter. Going to order that and a John Woods valve body and probably call it a day for now with the trans.
Waiting for my Edge CTS2 to show up.
I have yet to install the 2" level kit for the front. Needs new tires and an alignment.
After all that next on the list is wicked wheel, a tune(r)?, 20x12s, maybe injectors.
Just trying to build a fun truck, maybe tow here and there with it.
