Hey guys so my ABS light came on about a week ago. The scanner said LF speed sensor input circuit fault. Friday my wheel bearing went out so I put a brand new Timken hub assembly with the ABS pigtail on it. The wheel bearing had chewed up the end of the old one so I thought that would be the light issue. Well the same code still comes up. I checked my plugs and everything. Tried clearing the codes but that didn't work.

Is the speed sensor and ABS sensor the same thing? Anyone have this happen to them?

Its an '02 7.3 4wd.

Thanks -Matt

Not sure since you are getting a speed sensor code, but you might check the other wheel bearing?? Possible the other one has started to go and hosed up the the ABS sensor. Good luck!

Mine did the same thing. Had the ABS light come on then the hub went out. Changed everything out. The light stayed on for a little while after that then went off. Hope you get it cleared.
