air bag compressor mount loactions

Here is another idea for you guys. I had mine mounted here and I will do again once I get time to put the compressor back in.

Pull the drivers side headlight and your fender vent and look in the cavity next to the fender. You will be amazed at the amount of space in there. My 450 will be a bit different cause it doesn't have the hard plastic wheel wells but mount it to the wheel well and leave clearance from the fender and your golden.

I have all of my HID ballasts in here...I may be able to get more in there, good idea!

it's protected pretty well up their specially on mine with an 8 inch lift

I do remember re aiming the intake fitting so it would point down

Heres another spot just to keep it out of cab ,you will hear it when it kicks on ,No air bags yet ,Im just running air acces ,and train horns ,I keept it mounted high enough i still could get lumber ,drywall ,etc.. under so i have full 8' bed , Still will have enough Air when it comes to installing my air bags

Passenger side frame rail. 90 degree drill. 4 holes. Solid as a rock.
Larger 1/2" line and valve. Way louder and more responsive for the horns. Also put a Air Chuck inline so I can fill up tires.
Probably not the best location for running to air bags but fits perfect.

What brand of air compressor are you running?

How do these mounts handle driving through the mud a lot? I would like to get something mounted underneath, but afraid the mud and water would screw them up
