Another headlight conversion question

Has anyone taken an 08-10 XL and converted the headlights to the XLT version? If so what is involved? Is the grille easy to swap?

are you asking if someone can simply swap the headlights that come on lariats onto an XL truck that came with the ugly black lights?
Im pretty sure you can, but there may be some wiring which Im not sure of. I am also interested to know the answer and what would be involved if they dont simply plug in.

As for the grill, they are easy to swap. Just some bolts and clips.

Yes thats what I'm curious about, I've never heard of anyone doing this and wasn't sure what's involved.

Rob B from Dirty Diesel did it with his 2wd truck, it's doable.

Any idea if there is cutting or splicing involved like an 05-07 conversion?
