A high pressure fuel pump can and will cause a runaway, amongst the other items mentioned. If its going to court then take the truck to someone else to determine cause. If its the hp pump then you could have a problem as a ford short block does not come with one. Was it your original pump?

My point was that the truck was pulled in with 40,000 miles and no problems. It was being worked on so that I could increase power. There were no problems with fuel in the oil, water in the fuel, or any HPFP leaks. The problems started as soon as I dropped my truck off. I find it hard to believe that my HPFP went bad on its own while not in use for a couple weeks.

Sorry to hear that bro, I hope you get it resolved. Did they install ported fuel rails on both motors? I had a leak in my end caps, I also lost a injector during this time, maybe from low rp idk but thankfully I got mine shut down before anything bad happened. It sounds like they had a serious fuel leak, it was filling up the cc with fuel. Thats why it ran good for the 30 miles and then filled with fuel and came apart/ran away.

Hmm thats interesting to hear about House Of Diesel there not to far from me. I hope they step up to the plate and get it taken care of but if not I agree with the course of action for legal intervention.

As of now I was told to basically piss off and they had me pick up my truck from their father's big rig repair shop in san jose. I don't see anything being resolved one on one anymore to be honest. The funny thing is that they logged in to check out this thread and the other thread I wrote the first time they blew up my motor but haven't spoken to defend themselves because obviously they know they are in the wrong. You can see "Houseofdiesel" as a member who have read this thread on the bottom of the page.
