Any ideas as to why they wernt lighting up?

Did you check with a meter to see if the wire has power?

yes i did. Found the power wire for the headlight switch when the lights were one. i grounded the ground wire, inserted the power wire into the socket that had power when the switch was in the ON postition and nothing!?

Hook the light to a battery and see what happens. May not have it grounded well.

Pulled the pod back off, double checked the wiring and i had it half ass backwards! My fault and over looked it
