Anyone monitor with Dashdaq Series 2?

I picked one up really cheap but when I go to pick the parameters and it uses the "generic" it really only picks up coolant temp and fuel rail pressure. Nothing else is useful and theres only about 25 more other parameters to pick from and thier not to any of my use like, EGT, boost, tranny temp stuff like that. Any way to download something to fix this? This thing is pretty confusing and drewtechs website doesnt really help either! thanks guys

You need to download the ford specific trial from drewtechs website, or forum ill try and get you a link ..

What parameter are you trying to use?
You don't get all the Ford specific pids, just the most useful ones ... The greyed out parameters are not available unless you pay for the extended Ford license.

You may also need to update your firmware.

I got like 418 and most of them are greyed out. Like 4x4/low and below was greyed out

If I remember correctly you need to.hook the dashdaq up and install the drivers then I think you can select the ford specific parameters

V2 Bump for updating software may do it actually, Do you have the dashdaq driver software?

Download it, get the newest driver pack, then pick Generic, ford on the parameters list.

They should have "free trial"

You guys are gonna hate me lol. I can't find how to update the software anywhere on drewtechs website. Or where to buy the enhanced parameters. And I was told he just updated the software that day. I'm pretty much starting from scratch. Be gentle lol

The firmware version in that thread is old but that's the process you need to follow. The update tool will provide you with the latest firmware.
