Not trying to talk you out of changing it but what exactly it is you don't like about the ATS turbo? I have had mine on for about 10 months now and have no regrets. Sure there are better options out there but why change what you already have. Me personally I would put dual fuelers on it and leave it at that unless you want a bigger turbo which will have somewhat of the same effect what you have now. VGT or non VGT. I will say this that turbo is asking for more fuel to unlock its potential. I'm on stock fuel still and don't have any problems lighting the tires up from a dead stop. Just my 2 cents worth...

So out of curiosity I did an off idle, flat to the floor launch. Sadly my old 5.9 cummins with compounds (s480 atmosphere) would be lit and gone before this thing even thinks about getting going. I know I can't expect tire shredding tq off idle without boost, but that's a little excessive when they claim stock like spool.

Well I guess I was wrong...lol. They do have a little lag down low which is to be expected. I don't use 4 wheel drive very often so I don't notice it as much with no load on it and being in 2 wheel drive all the time. I don't have any complaints though. I enjoy the heck out of it either way. Here is a few clips to compare:

Here is the video of the test I did. Maybe I'm expecting too much? I tried this on my 2013 f350 cab and chassis work truck also and it doesn't start to pull til about 1550.

What does the 66mm street max do when you do this same thing?https://vimeo.com/181429716QUOTE]

Here is a video I did from 1300rpm locked in 4th gear. I feel this turbo would make even more boost down low as I can really feel the torque management until between 1500-1600 rpm when the fuelling really kicks in. Still quite impressive for a decent size charger on stock fuel. I'd imagine it would be even better if I wasn't hauling 1200lbs of crap in the box and on 36x13 wide tires too...

Thanks for that video. That thing does lite a lot sooner than my ATS does. I like that. Who's tuning are you running?
