Hey wiring guru's, I've got a question. I have a wrecked 03 cab with all the wiring in it. I want to remove the fuse box from this cab and install it behind the seat of my 05 crewcab with a trim piece around it so that I have a dedicated place to plug in after market electronics.
First: does anyone see any problems with doing this?
Second: my plan is to use the 2/0 amp wiring kit I have sitting in my shop with an in line fuse by the battery and then to a reducer to mate to the fuse block. Does this sound like it would work? If so what size fuse would I want to run in the inline fuse holder? It currently has a 300Amp fuse in it and I assume this is way too large.
