Ok guys, I'm in wisconsin, it's been 15 deg and below here since Friday when we arrived. I went out and started the truck, let it idle to 160 degrees and took a trip to the gas station. En route I noticed a lot of turbo noise and an insane amount of flutter when I let off. Pulled a p0470 code. I've read they need cleaned and also they close when it's real cold but shouldn't it open when its at operating temp unless somehow it's frozen? We are leaving tomorrow and its 5 hours home. What should I check/do before the trip? Other than that the truck runs flawlessly. Oh and there seems to be a lack of turbo whistle at idle like normal from the vgt.

Clear codes and see if it comes back. Cold weather can sometimes cause this. Compare your EBP reading to BARO at KOEO and see if they are the same.

Unplug the sensor. Pull the tube off at the mani and take it inside for the night. Might as well clean it while you have it out. Run a metal coat hanger down the tube.

Rivets are the new duct tape.
